More than three months since Yes and NVIDIA officially announced their GeForce Now cloud gaming partnership, the service is now finally online in Malaysia. However, this does not mean the service has been launched to the mass public for our market.
For now, the GeForce Now service in Malaysia has to go through a public beta test first. Taking place until 10 April, this beta test is only open to Yes customers.
“We are proud to finally bring our collaboration with NVIDIA in Malaysia into fruition and kick start our Exclusive Beta phase of the GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform,” said Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications. “Through this Exclusive Beta launch, we hope to deliver to our customers and gamers an unparalleled entertainment experience, amplified with Yes 5G, allowing them to explore their fullest gaming potential before anyone else.”
GeForce NOW is a cloud service platform that will connect to most major game platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect which would allow gamers to sync their games as long as cloud sync saving is supported.
Not only that, gamers will have access to titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Destiny 2 and many more through this service.
