Lenovo’s Legion brand has officially teased the Legion C700, a cloud gaming handheld developed in partnership with Tencent. The idea is simple: give you instant access to a huge library of games through the cloud, without the heavy hardware burden.
The C700 uses an asymmetrical controller layout with offset analog sticks, a D-pad, and ABXY buttons. Lenovo’s images also show rear buttons and a large vented section, although the internal hardware has not been disclosed. Lenovo built the device with Tencent START, Tencent’s cloud gaming platform; it’s the clearest clue to what the C700 might be.
