Samsung has unveiled the second generation of its tilting 1080p projector, the Freestyle Gen 2. This portable projector is touted as the world’s first with built-in cloud gaming, offering console-free gameplay with a Bluetooth controller.
The new model retains many features from its predecessor, including Full HD resolution, a throw ratio of 1.2, a 30,000-hour LED light source, a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, auto keystone correction, autofocus, and exact dimensions and weight. Similar to its predecessor, it can be easily moved from projecting visuals on a wall to the ceiling with the help of a hinge-packing cradle.
The projector, now available for pre-order for $799.99, allows users to stream over 3,000 games from Xbox, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, Utomik, Antstream Arcade, and Blacknut, Samsung says.
The projector also supports other entertainment apps, such as Spotify, YouTube, and Twitch so users can listen to music, and videos and follow streamers while playing.
