When you no longer need the cloud server, the cloud server can be terminated. It can be achieved through the Elastic Compute Service console.
You can actively terminate the Pay-per-use resources. Yet, subscription resources are not supported.
Before you terminate your pay-per-use resources, you need to unbind IP first.
The resources go to the Trash Can. Please empty the Trash Can.
Please note that the resources will be kept in the trash can for two hours and then delete automatically after two hours. If you want to continue your services, please click restore.
If the service that you purchase is under Pay-Per-Use, it will not be automatically terminated unless there is a past-due bill. Fifteen days after the past-due date, all the service and cloud hosts will be automatically terminated. However, if you purchase the subscription service, seven days after the expiration date, all the service and cloud hosts will be automatically terminated.
When you terminate the cloud server, the system volume of the cloud server will be terminated, yet the elastic cloud volume will not be affected. If you want to terminate the cloud volume, please refer to Cloud Volume Destruction.
